The newest crossover in the Batman universe was Legacy. In Legacy, the true origin of the plague that attacked Gotham (during Contagion) was revealed - it came from Ra's al Ghul's desire to cleanse the planet of humanity. This was an important storyline, as Ra's al Ghul revealed that Bane was to become his heir, and marry Talia, Ra's daughter. Batman, Robin, Nightwing, and the Huntress joined forces to travel the globe, trying to find the reasons behind the plague and to put a stop to it.
This story was intense! Pretty soon, I'll write up a full summary of it. Go read it, though!
