Dick Grayson is Nightwing, the former Robin. After Robin left Batman, he joined the Teen Titans. Eventually Dick shed the persona of Robin, and adopted that of Nightwing. Nightwing eventually came to be the leader of the Teen Titans and the New Titans. Nightwing then left that group (after his fiance/wife left him). After showing Batman that he had no problems physically or mentally, he removed his costume and handed it to Batman, announcing that he was "retiring," in order to have a normal life. Dick wanted to have normal friends, normal hours, and a normal job. However, events led him to don his costume once again, and now he has struck out on his own. Shown here is his new costume - gone are the light blue and yellow.
Nightwing has now moved to Blüdhaven, which is a short drive south of Gotham along the coast. Blüdhaven used to be a whaling town that's fallen on hard times.
