[The Dark Knight]

[Why 2 Windows?]

Throughout the site you will find this notice:

[2 Windows]
A second window will open if you select any links external to the site.

I have chosen a two-windows approach to this site:

Window 1 is the site. Everything you visit that is part of The Dark Knight site will be contained within this one window.

Window 2 is any external sites. If you click on a link that takes you to a page that is not part of this site, it will pop up in a second window. This means that you can keep visiting other sites, linked from this one, without ever leaving this site.

The only other time another window will appear is if you select a bio from Gotham Gossip. In this situation, a tiny window will pop up with the bio. At no time will windows keep appearing! And at no time should another site appear within the main frame of the site. If it does, please let me know so I can fix the problem!

I like this approach on websites, and I hope you do too. It's not very CPU or RAM intensive to open a second window, and it really enhances your browsing experience. This approach will not work with Netscape Navigator 1.x or Lynx. It may not work with some versions of Microsoft's Internet Explorer, but it will definitely work with version 3.x
